The Association is a non-profit organization that represents the interests of the banking sector in Cyprus. It responsibly represents the views of its members during consultations on legal, banking, and regulatory matters. Its positions on banking and financial issues are aimed at promoting the broader benefit of the economy. It works closely with the Central Bank of Cyprus, Parliamentary Committees, and various Ministries, as well as with other private and public sector bodies. It also collaborates with representatives of the local media, the European Banking Federation, and other international banking associations.
